First EUP AH&W Summer School: “Animal health and welfare of food producing animals: challenges and solutions”
The first EUP AH&W Summer School on “Animal Health and Welfare of Food Producing Animals: Challenges and Solutions”, will be held at the University of Surrey, Guildford, UK, from 21st to 25th July 2025. It aims to bring together PhD students and Early Career Researchers (ECRs) affiliated with the EUP AH&W consortium with experts, to discuss key topics in animal health and welfare.
Applications are now open on the Partnership website: https://www.eupahw.eu/education-and-training/summer-schools. Please note that only PhD students and ECR from partner organisations of the EUP AH&W consortium are eligible to attend. Successful applicants will have their accommodation, attendance, travel (up to 500 euros) and some meals funded by EUP AH&W.

- Advantages and disadvantages of using Animal-Based Measures (ABMs) to assess animal welfare
- Current challenges and novel compounds for animal disease treatment

Attendance at this Summer School is funded through the EUP AH&W grant. Applications close at 17.00 CET on 6th June 2025.
