4 – 7 September, 2026

In 2026, the World One Health Congress returns for its ninth edition, bringing together a global community of experts dedicated to advancing One Health science and policy. Over the course of four days, the Congress will feature a dynamic and forward-thinking agenda, with parallel tracks covering One Health science, antimicrobial agents and resistance, and the science-policy interface, among other critical topics.

This leading international forum will foster discussions on major One Health challenges, facilitate the exchange of cutting-edge research, and highlight policy developments shaping the future of health for humans, animals, and the environment. Through an open call for abstracts, groundbreaking work from distinguished scientists and thought leaders will take center stage.

21 – 23 September, 2026

The FAO Global Conference will bring together global leaders, technical experts, partners and stakeholders to accelerate the practical application of One Health across agrifood systems.

5 – 7 October, 2026

The aim of the symposium of the One Health Platform is to promote interdisciplinary research and the exchange of knowledge in the field of One Health as well as to provide a visible stage for One Health researchers.

29 – 30 October, 2026

Artificial intelligence (AI), together with the rapidly increasing availability of surveillance and omics data, is transforming the way hazards are detected, monitored and assessed in food safety, animal health and plant health. At the same time, recent regulatory developments, including the European AI Act, highlight the importance of trustworthy, transparent and scientifically robust AI.

This conference will bring together experts from public agencies, academia and research organisations working in food safety, animal health and plant health to discuss both the opportunities and limitations of AI, with a strong focus on practical applications, scientific rigour and regulatory relevance.

The conference will provide a forum to discuss current advances, remaining challenges and future opportunities for the use of AI in food safety, animal health and plant health.

19-22 January, 2027

The Conference will be a key forum for researchers both internal and external to the European Partnership on Animal Health and Welfare, across the diverse animal health and welfare arena to discuss issues, share experiences, and present innovative solutions.

We invite researchers to submit abstracts in the following areas:

•     Surveillance and monitoring systems for animal health and welfare.
•     Risk assessment and alert communication in animal health and welfare.
•     Diagnostic approaches for animal health surveillance.
•     Methods for monitoring animal welfare.
•     Prevention of infectious diseases on farms and during transport.
•     Interventions and treatments, against infectious diseases.
•     Vaccines, adjuvants and immune-modulators.
•     Advancing animal welfare on farm, during transport and at the end of life.

26 – 27 January, 2027

On 26-27 January 2027, the Belgian One Health network (BeOH) is organising an event in Brussels on Ecosystem health & Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) prevention. 

This is an in-person event, jointly organised by Sciensano, the Belgian Biodiversity Platform, and the Federal Public Service Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment. The working language will be English. 

The event will include expert presentations and a poster session, followed by break-out groups and a panel discussion. 
It is aimed at experts and stakeholders interested in intersectoral cooperation, but also reaches out to administrators and policy makers, e.g. working on health, environment, agriculture, urban planning, research funding,…

15 – 18 June, 2027

We are delighted to announce that International Conference on One Health 2027 (ICOH2027) will be held in-person from June 15-18, 2027 in Shanghai, China. The conference is co-organized by Elsevier and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

We will gather leading One Health researchers to share their latest findings and insights on addressing critical challenges, while providing a key platform for researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders to exchange knowledge and promote collaboration in navigating the complex realities of implementing a One Health approach.
